Red Willow Vineyard is located about 15 miles south of Wapato, it is one of the warmer sites in the Yakima Valley, which provides fruit with excellent structure, character, and acidity.
Boushey Vineyard is Located on the outskirts of Grandview, this mid-valley vineyard has an elevation of 1,400 feet with soil consisting of silt loam, and windblown loess sitting on top of fractured basalt. This is a cooler site that produces grapes that are small, thick-skinned, and loaded with flavor and balance.
Deep ruby red in color, with aromas of perfume, violets, and currants with a hint of cedar, spice, and licorice. On the palate, it displays layers of red fruit, currants, and graphite, with a big structure and a great tannin mouthfeel that gives this wine an elegant and long-lasting finish. If you are looking for a big merlot this is it.
